The goal is to empower and equip each young person to develop the necessary skills to become lifelong learners. To guide us in this goal we use the EMPOWER philosophy:

Our mission: is to equip, enhance, motivate, and cultivate all youth to break through barriers and obstacles that stand in their way of learning. To provide each youth with adequate tools to improve educational outcomes and allow opportunities for them to reach their highest potential.

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Dr. Kimberly Wilson

A licensed Special Education teacher for grades K-12, Dr. Wilson has over two decades of experience working with children and families in various settings, including differentiated instruction. Dr. Wilson inspires to provide children with the essential tools to succeed and excel in life. She’s passionate about empowering children with learning differences to embrace who they are and understand that their differences do not define their abilities. Dr. Wilson’s main objective is to Brighten the Future with Empowered Minds.

Dr. Wilson’s educational journey reflects her dedication and commitment to lifelong learning. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Special Education from Liberty University, a Master of Art in Special Education from Marshall University, and a Bachelor of Art in Criminal Justice from Marshall University. Dr. Wilson has also earned an Administrative Licensure from Gardner Webb University.

Beyond her accomplishments, Dr. Wilson is a supportive wife and mother. She enjoys serving beside her husband in ministry and equipping others to walk in their destiny. Dr. Wilson loves spending quality time with family and vacationing on the beach.

Empowering Minds Tutorial Program

  • Individualize instruction
